Horizontal directional drilling mud pump is a construction machinery for laying various underground public facilities (pipelines, cables, etc.) without excavating the ground.

Horizontal directional drilling mud pump is a construction machinery for laying various underground public facilities (pipelines, cables, etc.) without excavating the ground. Widely used in the construction of flexible pipelines such as water supply, electricity, telecommunications, natural gas, gas, oil, etc. Suitable for sandy soil, clay and other conditions, not suitable for high groundwater levels and pebble formations. It can be used for construction in most non hard rock areas in China, with working environment temperatures ranging from -15 ℃ to+45 ℃.
Construction characteristics of horizontal directional drilling mud pump:
1. During construction, it will not obstruct traffic, damage green spaces and vegetation, affect the normal life and work order of shops, hospitals, schools, and residents, solve the interference of traditional excavation construction on residents' lives, and damage and adverse effects on traffic, environment, and surrounding building foundations.
2. Modern horizontal directional drilling mud pumps have high accuracy, easy adjustment of laying direction and burial depth, and long arc laying distance of pipelines, which can fully meet the design requirements of burial depth and enable pipelines to bypass underground obstacles.
3. The burial depth of urban pipeline networks generally does not exceed 3 meters, and when crossing rivers, the burial depth is generally 9-18 meters below the riverbed. Therefore, a horizontal directional drilling mud pump is used, which has no impact on the surrounding environment, does not damage the terrain and environment, and meets various environmental requirements.
4. During the construction of the horizontal directional drilling mud pump, there should be no accumulated water and no operation under water, which does not affect the navigation of the river and does not damage the dam and riverbed structure on both sides of the river. Construction is not limited by seasons and has the characteristics of short construction period, few personnel, high success rate, and safe and reliable construction.
Compared with other construction methods, the speed of entering and exiting the site is fast, and the construction site can be flexibly adjusted. Especially in urban construction, its advantages can be fully demonstrated. Moreover, the construction occupies less land, the project cost is low, and the construction speed is fast.
During the construction of large rivers, due to the pipeline being buried 9-18 meters below the formation, there are fewer corrosive substances such as oxygen in the formation, which plays a natural role in anti-corrosion and insulation, and can ensure a longer operating time of the pipeline.
7. Pre expansion refers to gradually expanding the hole back to the expected diameter by 1.3-1.5 times the pipe diameter under clear geological conditions and underground pipeline exploration or survey.
