Reasons for the malfunction of mud pump accessories

Mud pumps can be widely used in mining, electricity, metallurgy, coal, environmental protection industries, transportation, and transportation. Mud contains solid particles ground by grinding and filtering machines. For example, the transportation of slurry in metallurgical beneficiation plants, the transportation of coal slurry and heavy media in hydraulic ash thermal power plants, and coal washing plants. In the chemical industry, it can also transport some corrosive slurry crystals. But during use, mud pump accessories may malfunction, so what are the reasons for this?
1. Several reasons for the bearing heating of mud pump accessories:
① The cold water or cooling water tank is not open or blocked, and the cooling water or cooling water should have a cleaning function.
② For equipment with poor lubrication, the amount of lubricating oil should be adjusted.
③ If there are impurities in the dirty lubricating oil, the bearings should be cleaned and the oil replaced.
④ Wrong direction. Regarding the inlet pressure of the wear-resistant mud pump, please adjust the direction of the thrust bearing.
⑤ The socket plug with bearings causes the hot bearings in the cabinet to be unable to be discharged, resulting in the equipment becoming hot. Clean air outlets should be provided
2. Uniform corrosion of mud pump accessories
It refers to the uniform corrosion of metal surfaces in contact with corrosive liquids, and the occurrence of uniform chemical filter pump corrosion on the entire surface of the metal, which is a form of corrosion of metal materials such as gear pumps and centrifugal pumps. The measure to prevent uniform corrosion of mud pump accessories is to consider having sufficient margin to corrode the pump design, and use appropriate materials (including non-metallic materials).
3. The suction pumps are corrosion-resistant between them
The slurry between intergranular corrosion is localized corrosion, mainly referring to the precipitation of chromium carbide grains. Intergranular corrosion between stainless steel has a significant corrosive effect, and stainless steel pumps should be used to prevent intergranular corrosion. The material undergoes intergranular corrosion, with almost complete loss of strength and plasticity. Measures to prevent intergranular corrosion in slurry pumps include annealing stainless steel, stainless steel, or ultra-low carbon (C<0.03%).
